One Day......

Been in touch with a few people about my songs.  Bit disheartening when they say "you should listen to whats in the charts at the moment and go from there".  How is anyone new or any new music supposed to come out if everyone does the same as whats in the charts.  Have you heard some of the stuff out at the moment?
Yeah ok, im not saying im the best and everyone should listen to me, but when i write songs i out meaning into them, i put my feelings into them and a lot of people can relate to them.  I then try as hard as i can to make the music work with the song.
I know a lot of people out there, and people in the charts, dont make their own music.  They get a producer to do that for them.  So basically, as long as the music sounds good, they can put any old rubbish as the lyrics pretty much!  But then the song has no meaning, people just like it for the music alone.  Whereas i always try and write my lyric first and then put the music to them.  Then you can catch the essence of the mood within the music too.
Im not looking to get a record deal or anything, although if that were to ever happen i would consider it!
My aim with DrobeStudio is to get people off the streets, get people, whatever age to believe they are worth something.  Expressing that through music is what got me back on my feet after being really ill with depression.
All i want is for people to know what DrobeStudio is and what im trying to do.  But on my own it is so hard to get it up off the ground.
It takes me so long to write some of my songs, to put actual feelings in them.  Then even longer to make the music.  I dont know if people realise that or not as i never really get much feedback.  I put all my music out on my YouTube channel for people to hear and i also put it all out as FREE downloads.  All because i want people to hear it and get to know me as a musician/producer or whatever you want to call me.  All i ask is for people to share it for me.  I know my music isnt to everyones tastes which is fine, but if you do listen, even if you dont like it, please share it for me.  I spend so many ours making it, all i want you guys to do for me is click on the share button or the retweet button.  Just to give me that little helping hand.  It lights me up inside when i see people have shared my stuff.

My aim one day is to be able to do this as my full time job.  I want to get people off the streets to stop trouble being caused and people that have had a bad time of things to be able to get back on their feet by concentrating on something productive.  Right now though, i just want to get the word out, get people to know what im trying to do.
